The winter walk starts from Dobbiaco Vecchia/Alttoblach at the parish Church of St. John the Baptist. From there the path goes to Santa Maria/Aufkirchen, where is located the Gothic pilgrimage church. Uphill to Melate/Mellaten, Monte Rota/Ratsberg and Fienili/Stadlern are very beautiful chapels. The cultural round tour prosegue to the church of San Silvestro/Wahlen, which is devoted to St. Nicolas. Passing the Leitnstöckl, which is one of many so-called "Peststöckel" in the surroundings, which were realised in memory of the plague, the path goes back to the starting point.
