From the Lake of Braies to the Alpine hut Malga Colle Alti

From Braies along the western end of the lake, turn right into the Val Foresta/Grünwaldtal, to Casera Vecchia/Altkasern. From there part a steeply path up to the high alpine hut Malga Colli Alti/Hochalmhütten.
From the alpine hut „Malga Colli Alti/Hochalmhütten“ following the wide path to the „Giogo di Montecroce/Kreuzjoch“, turn rigth into „Val Lapadures/Lapadurestal“ and then turn left and slightly upward to the beautiful lake. Same way back (sign-post: no. 19, no. 3).
