Composer Gustav Mahler's cottage
The famous composer Gustav Mahler stayed at the Trenkerhof in Altschluderbach in the summers from 1908 to 1910 and created the 'Ninth Symphony', the unfinished 'Tenth Symphony' and 'Das Lied von der Erde' in the cottage on our private property.
About this nest he said: 'It is wonderful here and it certainly repairs body and soul...'. This sentence can be found in the entrance area of the hotel.

Visiting Mahler - In the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. “Alma”, the composer's beloved companion, will make your visit even more speical, with stories and anecdotes. Entry to the park and the composition house is free
